hi!

wir haben die struktur der users at mur.at liste veraendert. von jetzt an
werden alle, die einen account haben auf einer liste fuer die maschine
transferiert, die den account beherbergt (zb. fox-users at mur.at). diese
listen wiederum werden auf users at mur.at subskribiert, was es uns (=noc)
moeglich macht, allen leuten relevante infos zukommen zu lassen.

darueberhinaus haben die admins der verschiedenen maschinen nun einen
kommunikationsweg zu ihren userinnen. wir hoffen, dass dieser mechanismus
einen besseren weg darstellt, unsere userinnen mit technisch relevanten
informationen zu versorgen und wir versprechen, diesen mechanismus nicht
unnoetigerweise zu verwenden.

alle postings an users at mur.at, die nicht vom noc kommen landen sofort im
muell. inkludiere users at mur.at NICHT in eventuelle replies. versuche NICHT
dich von dieser liste zu unsubscriben, da wir dich sofort wieder auf die
liste nehmen.

wir sind uns bewusst, dass diese policy nicht im vollen einklang mit den
regeln von opt-in mailinglisten steht. jedoch denken wir, dass die art von
information, die wir ueber diese listen verbreiten sowohl nuetzlich als
auch wichtig fuer alle subskribierten ist. daher - ich wiederhole -
akzeptieren wir keine unsubscribes. wir hoffen auf dein verstaendnis.

alle mails an users at mur.at werden archiviert
(http://mur.at/mailman/admin/users/archive) und sind ab sofort oeffentlich
zugaenglich. die archive optionen der listen fuer einzelne maschinen
obliegen den jeweiligen administratorinnen.

we changed the structure of the users at mur.at list. from now on all
account-holders will be added to a list that matches the machine that
hosts the account (e.g. fox-users at mur.at). all these lists are subscribed
in the users at mur.at list which makes it possible for us (=noc) to reach
all people with relevant information.

furthermore the admins of the different machines have a means of
communication with their users. we hope this mechanism provides a better
way of transporting technical information to the users who need it and we
promise NOT to use this mechanism excessively.

all postings to users at mur.at from people other than noc will be trashed.
do NOT include users at mur.at in the reply. do NOT unsubscribe from this
list since we will put you back on.

we are aware of the fact that this policy does not fully comply with the
ususal rules of opt-in lists but we think that the type of information we
provide through this mechanism is both usefull and necessary for all
people subscribed. thus - i repeat - we will NOT accept unsubscription
requests and we hope you understand why.

all mail to users at mur.at ist being archived
(http://mur.at/mailman/admin/users/archive) and the archives are public as
of now. archival policy of lists for different machines is subject to the
policy of the administrators.
