In divergenter Auseinandersetzung mit Materialität, Produktion und
Geschichte des 
Films verschieben und erweitern Dorit Margreiter und Ursula Mayer den
filmspezifischen 
Kontext in den Ausstellungsraum. Das Medium Film öffnet dabei einen
aktuellen Blick auf
modernistisch konnotierte Frauenfiguren und Architekturen, um diese ein
Stück weit 
aus ihrem Kontext herauszunehmen und mit einer "neuen" Geschichte zu
konfrontieren.

With different approaches regarding materiality, production and the history
of film, 
Dorit Margreiter and Ursula Mayer shift and extend the film specific context
to the 
exhibition space. The medium of film opens a contemporary view on
modernistically 
charged female figures and architectures, in order to take them out of their
context 
to a certain extent and confront them with a “new” story.
