hello all,

the first mail on the list. please use only the list from now on.

i was in graz yesterday. was very nice and i had some new ideas for 
connected.

first of all, i spoke with anton in forum and asked him if it would be 
possible to make a trip to sredisce with all the 'mitarbeiter' from forum. 
he really liked the idea and also the people working in forum liked it.
anton said i must arrange a date with sylvia (who is working in forum) and 
then they will all come for an afternoon or so.

i think we should think of something that can happen on this day when they 
all come, so that we will not just drink coffee and have lunch and then 
they go back to graz again. it would be nice to use this oppotunity for 
some kind of presentation, happening.

about the date, i think it should be after july 18. i am not sure if it 
would be better during the week or in the weekend. the people in forum 
probably will want it during the week, cause they have their private lives 
in the weekend. but i told them that when the come during the weekend they 
can all bring their families.

secondly,

i walked from spektral to forum yesterday and then i realized that this is 
actually a very nice route to go and fits very good to connected.
we should really make a trip together to graz soon, so i can show you this 
way. my idea was to make this route from forum to spektral. it goes first 
inside a tunnel, through the mountain, and then down to the river and then 
across the island and then in spektral. spektral could be the art center. 
there could be all the people from art center working inside spektral, 
busy making gibanica, so when you enter you have the feeling you are 
entering art center.

also i think this route is very interesting, since it goes directly 
through the center of graz, but somehow it is like a very 'rural' way. you 
don't really see much of the busy center with all the shop and trams.

and i met bettina yesterday and we exchanged some thoughts about 
connected. we are all invited to come to the big party at her house on 
sunday 10th, july. it would be a nice reason to go to graz that weekend. 
maybe we could go already on saturday. and stay till sunday or monday. you 
can all sleep at my house if you want :) or maybe we can also find some 
place in graz to stay.
