Medial war sie danach in sehr vielen Magazinen, Zeitschriften, TV-Beiträgen, aber natürlich auch auf social media präsent – die Fellners hat sie glücklicherweise ausgelassen. Mit „Kurdwin Ayub Superstar“ begrüßte die Diagonale Intendanz bei ihrer Eröffnung die Filmemacherin, fameness ist ein Thema das Ayub seit langem beschäftigt. Darüber wollen wir reden, gespickt mit Filmen aus ihrer Früh- und Jetztphase, in welchen Themen wie Migration, Verschleierung/Tschador, Magersucht, Schönheits-OPs oder der muslimische Glaube in einem spielerischen Umgang verhandelt werden. Im medienimmanenten Sinne probieren wir auch eine Analyse zweier ORF Beiträge.
