Vom altgriechischen geometrischen Stil angefangen über die geometrische Abstraktion innerhalb der abstrakten Malerei bis zur konkreten Kunst, wo die Form zum Selbstzweck wird. Wenn heutige Kunst die Geometrie thematisiert – und das tut sie im Bemühen um die Einordnung der Welt – dann fügt sie emotionale Elemente hinzu, lädt alte stilistische Werkzeuge mit neuen Assoziationen auf und lässt Farben, Formen und Inhalte zusätzlich interagieren. Sie vermisst, wägt ab und teilt.<br class=""><br class="">So eine Klammer lässt sich durchaus über die Positionen der Künstlerinnen der aktuellen Ausstellung legen. Wenn etwa Karin Maria Pfeifer ihre Rauminstallation blueprint mit monströs vergrößerten Produkten des Süßwarenherstellers PEZ gestaltet, indem sie mit überdimensionierten Lutschtabletten Schaltpläne auf den Fußboden legt, Türme aufbaut oder die typischen PEZ-Packungen zu Raumskulpturen stapelt. Zu hören sind weitere Arbeiten von Séverine Ballon und ein neues Stück der Komponistin und Performerin Pia Palme. Beide Künstlerinnen setzen in ihrer Musik gern innere Welten in Szene. Aus der Position der komponierenden Musikerin – oder musizierenden Komponistin – heraus verbinden Ballon und Palme individuelle Klangräume mit der Außenwelt.
