[Localtask-programm] Public/Permanent Info Attack

Herzlich willkommen bei localtask !

mur.at ist ein strategischer Zusammenschluss von KünstlerInnen und 
Kunstinitiativen zur gemeinsamen Nutzung des Internets.
Anläßlich der Vergabe des Titels Kulturhauptstadt 2003 an Graz hat  mur.at das 
Projekt localtask für Graz 2003 - Kulturhauptstadt Europas initiiert.


PIA (Public Info Attack), ein Teil des localtask Projektes ladet alle 
NetzbenützerInnen an mitzuwirken, http://pia.mur.at.

In modernen Ballungszentren gibt es unzählige, öffentliche Gebäude 
(Schwimmbäder, Bahnhöfe, Giga-Märkte ...) und Plätze, die über relativ 
leistungsstarke Lautsprecheranlagen verfügen. Leider sind diese 
"öffentlichen PA Anlagen" für gewöhnlich nicht öffentlich zugänglich, d.h. 
Privatpersonen haben bis dato keine Möglichkeit, diese mit Klangmaterial zu 
versorgen. 
PIA macht diese potentiell öffentlich zugänglichen Anlagen für mindestens 3 
Monate, zur Erweiterung des persönlichen sowie des kollektiv zugänglichen 
Klangraumes.
Der direkte Zugang ist über das Internet hergestellt.

Welcome to localtask !

mur.at is a strategic alliance of artists and art initiatives for a joint use 
of the internet.On the occasion of Graz receiving the title of Cultural capital 
2003, mur.at launched for the Graz 2003 - Cultural capital of Europe the 
localtask project. 


PIA (Public Info Attack) is a part of localtask project. PIA invites all 
netusers to take a part on this permanent info attack, http://pia.mur.at.

In modern conurbations there are usually a huge number of public buildings 
(swimming pools, railway stations, giga-markets...) and places that have 
relatively powerful loudspeaker facilities. Unfortunately these "public 
facilities" are not normally accessible to the public. This means that up until 
now, private persons have not had the opportunity to supply them with sound 
material. 

PIA aims at making these potentially publicly useable PA facilities useable for 
a period of time of a minimum of 3 months, in order to expand both personal and 
publicly accessible sound space. 
Direct access is provided via the internet.
