Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, 
im Rahmen der Mixed-Media Ausstellung Insurgent Flows. findet am 30.09.2023 von 16:00 bis 20:00 ein Symposion mit  statt. An diesem Nachmittag wird das Thema der Ausstellung mit performativen Talks und Interventionen vertieft.

Die Ausstellung Insurgent Flows. reflektiert Tod und Geschichte nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Künstler*innen illustrieren eine erschreckende Nekropolitik, die systematische Gewalttaten und Horror-Chronologien kontinuierlich bis in die Gegenwart weiterschreibt.
Wie in der Ausstellung werden Besucher*innen auch im Symposion ermutigt, sich mit herausfordernden Aspekten der Geschichte auseinanderzusetzen und kritisch über historische Erzählungen nachzudenken, insbesondere über solche, die systemische Gewalt und deren Auswirkungen bis heute beinhalten. 

The exhibition Insurgent Flows. reflects on death and history after World War II. The artists illustrate a terrifying necropolitics that continuously rewrites systematic acts of violence and horror chronologies through the present day.
As in the exhibition, visitors to the symposium are encouraged to engage with challenging aspects of history and to think critically about historical narratives, especially those that contain systemic violence and its effects to this day.

The Symposion will take place in English language.
