EMMELUTH´S AMOEBA/ // MICHAL LIBERA / ANA KRAVANJA & SAMO KUTIN/

Emmeluth’s Amoeba is a new and exciting Danish-Norwegian quartet led by
saxophonist and composer Signe Emmeluth.

Michał Libera (1979) is a sociologist working in the sound and music field
since 2003, recently, mostly as a dramatist and librettist in sound essays
and other experimental forms of radio art and opera.

Samo (hurdy gurdy, self made instruments) and Ana (violin, self made
instruments) combine non idiomatic improvisation with imaginary folk into a
special music travel with unexpected turns in soundscapes.

EMMELUTH’S AMOEBA
Emmeluth’s Amoeba is a new and exciting Danish-Norwegian quartet led by
saxophonist and composer Signe Emmeluth.
In March 2018 they released their debut album POLYP. The album consist of a
variety of free improvisations and compositions by Emmeluth.
“ I hear music and sounds in shapes and colours, and i’m therefor
often inspired by visuals. For me it’s fascinating to see if I can bring
my visual thoughts in to a auditiv experience. We want to create a complete
picture of sound that explores different aspects of movement, acoustic and
electronic sound, tone, rhythm and harmonics. What is sound? Cacophony,

Edith Temmel, geboren in Graz, lebt und arbeitet seit 1969 als
freischaffende Künstlerin. Vorwiegend in ihrer Heimatstadt tätig,
präsentierte die Künstlerin ihre Arbeiten kontinuierlich in
internationalen Ausstellungen, u.a. in Linz, Wien, Osnabrück, Berlin,
Brüssel, Szombathely, Marburg (SLO), Tel Aviv, New York (World Trade
Center 2001), Zagreb, Opolje und Breslau (Polen). Ihre Werke in privatem
und öffentlichem Besitz im In- und Ausland.
