aus Bangkok, das Projekt EVA (Experimental Video Art Exhibition, Thai-European
Friendship), an dem sechs Institutionen aus Thailand und der EU beteiligt
sind. Die aktuelle Ausstellung umfasst mehr als hundert Videoarbeiten und
bietet eine Zeitreise durch Videokunst aus Thailand und Europa von 1977 bis
2022, mit Exkursionen rund um die Welt.
</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><font color="#232323" class=""><font size="2" class="">Während Video in Thailand noch ein relativ junges Kunstgenre
ist, blickt Österreich hier auf eine reichhaltige Tradition zurück. Ein Fokus
liegt dieses Mal auf teilweise recht selten präsentierten
konzeptuellen Produktionen aus Graz. So sieht man Arbeiten von Doris
Jauk-Hinz von 1988 bis 2021, Werner Jauk gemeinsam mit Helmut Eisendle, Heimo
Ranzenbacher, Gunther Skreiner, Marion Wicher oder Monika Wogrolly von
1989 bis 1922, Älteres und Neues von Eva-Maria Gugg, Eva Ursprung,
Evamaria Schaller, Heidrun Holzfeind u.v.a. Dem gegenübergestellt werden
Arbeiten von Studierenden aus Thailand, von Künstler:innen verschiedener
thailändischer Institutionen und aus verschiedenen europäischen Ländern.
Alle Werke erzählen ihre eigenen Geschichten über Kultur, Ideen und
künstlerische Techniken, von der Welt draußen und drinnen, Beziehungen und
