<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; text-indent: 0; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px;">Unter der Leitung von Sandro Droschl wird die Institution einen verstärkten internationalen Fokus auf zeitgenössische Kunst und multidisziplinäre Praktiken haben. Ergänzend zum bestehenden Ruf für herausragende regionale Produktionen wird diese Neuausrichtung weitere visuell und konzeptionell spannende Räume eröffnen, um das starke und progressive kulturelle Engagement der HALLE FÜR KUNST Steiermark zu präsentieren. Dem Ausstellungshaus ist es ein Anliegen über die Grenzen des Feldes der Gegenwartskunst hinauszustrahlen, die Vielfalt in unserer Gesellschaft widerzuspiegeln und kritische und spannende Perspektiven auf die sich ständig verändernde Gegenwart einzubringen. Als lebendige Plattform, die sowohl internationale als auch herausragende lokale Künstler_innen unterstützt, möchte die HALLE FÜR KUNST Steiermark zeitgenössische Kunst für alle Mitglieder der Gesellschaft zugänglich machen.</p>

<p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; text-indent: 0; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px;">Die Institution hat Cathrin Mayer zur neuen Kuratorin ernannt, die gemeinsam mit dem künstlerischen Leiter Sandro Droschl für das Ausstellungsprogramm verantwortlich sein wird. Mayer studierte Kunstgeschichte in Wien und war zuletzt als Kuratorin an den KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin tätig. Durch ihre internationale Ausrichtung, ihr Interesse für experimentelle Formate und ihre Kenntnis der lokalen Szene wird sie ein offenes und unkonventionelles Programm gestalten, das die Komplexität und Vielschichtigkeit heutiger Perspektiven auf unserer Gegenwart widerspiegeln soll.</p>
<p style="margin-top: 0; text-indent: 30px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0;">Im Zuge der institutionellen Neugestaltung hat das Grafikbüro <a href="https://newsletter.halle-fuer-kunst.at/l/lnYMo70mi3uWryuy9V7892Yw/Uwzae1WqeA7637631saESk67630Q/G5UotZfUG6DscQEcxAiC4g" style="color: inherit; text-decoration: underline;" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FONDAZIONE Europa</a>, das mit Organisationen wie Frieze, Hatje Cantz oder Balenciaga zusammenarbeitet und den Katalog für den Österreichischen Pavillon auf der Biennale in Venedig 2022 gestaltet, ein komplett neues Erscheinungsbild entworfen und freut sich die Ausstellungen und weitere Inhalte in analoger und digitaler Form nach außen zu tragen.</p>
