Die gewählten Texte beschäftigen sich inhaltlich mit Einsamkeit, Distanz und Orientierungslosigkeit, gehen in Beton und Mauern unter, werfen Schatten auf sich selbst und die Text- und Bildwelten, die sie beschreiben und lassen die Leser_innen in der Ambivalenz zwischen der Wut und dem Ekel der Wörter zurück. „Meine einzige Problemzone ist Österreich, Herr Doktor“ konstatiert die Ich-Erzählerin im Text „Österreich entfolgen“ (Gadse9) über das Leben in Österreich, „Zumindest kann ich über meine Beziehungen besser nachdenken, wenn sie mit Datum versehen im Messenger wie in einer Rangliste aufscheinen“, charakterisiert die Figur in „Good Lyfe“ (Leto Warzilek) digitale Kommunikation.<BR><BR>Das Grazer Literaturheft „mischen“ wird seit Jänner 2019 von Julia Knaß und Raffael Hiden, Bianca Rexeis, Kathrin Pflegerl und Anja Jeschaunig gestaltet. Der Name der Zeitschrift steht leitmotivisch für das Konzept des Literaturprojektes. Die Texte werden von der Redaktion in ein Mischungsverhältnis gesetzt, es gibt vorab keine inhaltlichen Themenvorgaben oder formalen Tendenzen. The selected texts deal with loneliness, distance and disorientation, perish in concrete and walls, cast shadows on themselves and the text- and pictorial worlds they describe and leave the readers in the ambivalence of rage and disgust behind. “My only problem area is Austria, doctor” states the first-person narrator in the text “Österreich entfolgen” (Unfollow Austria) (Gadse9) on life in Austria, “at least I can think about my relationships better, when they are provided with a date inside the messenger and appear like a ranking list,” is how the protagonist in “Good Lyfe” (Leto Warzilek) characterizes digital communication.<BR><BR>The first issue of “mischen,” (to mix) the literary magazine from Graz, was published in January of 2019 by Julia Knaß, Raffel Hiden, Bianca Rexeis, Kathrin Pflegerl und Anja Jeschaunig. The title of the magazine represents the concept of the project as a leitmotif. The texts are put in a mixing ration by the editors, there are no guidelines concerning the content or formal tendencies up front.
