</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass der Fokus vieler Migrationsstudien lange Zeit auf der legalen Migration lag, gibt es erst seit kurzem Forschungen, die sich explicit mit illegalen Migrationen
auseinandersetzen. Dies ist wahrscheinlich auch darauf zurückzuführen, dass dieses Thema in den laufenden Debatten über Migrationen sehr intensiv diskutiert wird. In meinen Ausführungen werde ich mich besonders mit der historischen sowie der globalen Dimension
von illegalen Migrationen auseinandersetzen, wobei im Besonderen die Geschlechterperspektive berücksichtigt werden soll. Ein weiteres Thema wird die Konstruktion von migrantischer Illegalität im Verhältnis zur Konstruktion von Staatsbürgerschaft sein. Diesbezüglich
soll gezeigt werden, auf welche Weise Staatsbürgerschaft definiert werden kann, und wie die Mechanismen von Inklusion und Exklusion unterschiedliche Bedeutungen für Frauen und Männer haben.
