Einschlägige Auseinandersetzungen mit Neuer Musik, Drone, Jazz und folkloristischen Einflüssen formen ein Zusammenwirken von rhythmischer Architektur mit dunklen Harmonien. Improvisatorische Elemente verschränken sich mit dissonanten Klangstrukturen, werden kontrastiert von wütenden Gitarren, effektvollem Violin- und Querflötenspiel sowie feingliedriger Klavierarbeit und schaffen so den Rahmen für eine vielschichtige Rhythmussektion. Die Tonträger zeichnen sich durch ihre versierte Produktion und klangliche Reife aus und bilden einen überzeugenden Kontrapunkt zur kommerzialisierten Musiklandschaft. Das neue und mittlerweile 4. Album heißt „exil“, ist auf Vinyl und CD bei PUMPKINS Records erhältlich und feiert im KM– seinen Live Album Release.<BR><BR><BR>--<BR><BR><BR>19 10 2017 8 p.m.<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;" >Album Release "exil"<BR>Concert: fragments of an empire</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" ><BR>with Armin Poglitsch, Daniel Gutmann, Klaus Wohlgemuth, Lisa Kaufmann, Renate Walter, Werner Wohlgemuth<BR><BR>In the ten years that the collective “fragments of an empire” have played together, they never fully turned away from the genres progressive and post-rock but definitely expanded its boundaries and gave it a contemporary twist. Mixing new music, drone, jazz, and folk elements together, rhythmic architectures and deep harmonies emerge, undergoing examination. An entanglement of improvisational and dissonant sound structures come up against furious guitars, melodious violins and flute, as well as filigree piano, creating a frame in which layers of rhythm unfold. The band’s records standout due to their adept production and sounding depths, therefore providing a persuasive counterpoint to the commercialized musical landscape. The new, and by now, fourth album “exil” will be released on PUMKINS Records on CD and Vinyl, with a live release here at KM–.</SPAN><br /><br /><img src="cid:Line.png@B3F5A800.146A.4322.B6A7.8254C2537582">
