BETWEEN THE LINES
Guarding the borders of interpreting and interpretation

What are the linguistic forms of negotiating (in)security in the Central European political and legal spare? How are "the things done" with questions? Helena Tužinská discusses questions resulting from her ethnography of interpreting in asylum court hearings in Slovakia from 2016 to 2019.
Mgr. Helena Tužinská  lectures at the Department of Ethnology and Museology, Faculty of Arts, at the Comenius University in Bratislava.
