 Nach einem wahlsonntag, wo uns vor lauter althergebrachtem die füsse
            eingeschlafen sind (The Yawn of a Blue Era), ist es jetzt
zum glück             wieder zeit für Interpenetration, das wieder
neues, neues, neues             bringt. Abgesehen von frischer musik
nämlich diese woche auch einen             neuen ort und eine neue
zeit. Also bitte beachten: am Donnerstag            
nicht ins
chachamaru pilgern, sondern in die Leitnergasse kommen und            
dann am Samstag nicht zuhause bleiben, sondern ins chachamaru         
   pilgern.

 Karl Bjorå (NO) – Guitar & electronics
 Signe Emmeluth (DK) – Alto saxophone & electronics
 
 In a cinematic room in which the sounds seem to be moving around     
       inside your head, an uncertainty about where the sounds are
coming             from occurs.
 The freely improvising duo Owl organically blends the acoustic       
     sounds from the alto saxophone with the electric sounds from the 
           electric guitar, contact microphones, and other
electronics.
 Their free play with preparations as well as the sense of space and  
          depth display the duo’s influences by noise, minimalism
and free             improvisation.
 
 Kaplan/kauders/Opcion
 
 kauders ist das Solo-Projekt des Grazer Musikers Gottfried Krienzer, 
           das für guten Geschmack und schlechten
Geschmack, manchmal
aber auch             für störrische Konzept-Treue steht. Zur
Präsentation eines Werkes             eher der letzteren Kategorie
(kauders: In Another Land part I, GOD             42) gibt es eine
Live-Performance die weder zu einer der obigen             Kategorien
passen, noch mit der Platte irgendwas zu tun haben wird.            
Der gelernte Gitarrist kauders spielt diesmal so etwas ähnliches wie 
           ein Schlagzeug und zwar in zumindest teilweiser
Überschneidung mit             Helmut Kaplan, Mitbetreiber und
Mitinitiator von tonto, der             ebenfalls eine Platte zu
präsentieren hat (Kaplan: 17 Stücke. GOD             45) und auch so
etwas ähnliches wie ein Schlagzeug spielt,             diesbezüglich
aber einschlägig vorbelastet ist. Brrrrrrr. Und dann            
wären da noch die digitalen Anstrengungen von Nikos Zachariadis      
      a.k.a. Opcion sich gehörig in dieses spannende Setting
einzumischen.             Dieser spielt
zwar kein Schlagzeug, ihn
verbindet aber mit kauders             und Kaplan, Musik auf dem
GOD-Label veröffentlicht zu haben (Opcion:             MONOS/UИD,
GOD32 ), was man als sinnstiftende Klammer für diese            
3er-Konstellation geltend machen könnte.

 Solar Return – Jenny Pickett & Julien Ottavi
 
 Nantes based artists Jenny Pickett and Julien Ottavi created Solar   
         Return in 2009. Taking electromagnetic phenomena as a
starting point             for their audio creations. They have
produced various scores for             dual audio
synths/oscillators/DIY electronics etc…which reflect            
patterns and electromagnetic events such as solar flares and inner    
        city mobile phone mast end as well as the unfathomable audio
world             of kitchen appliances. Through their performances
the duo tunnel             deep into the world of frequency,
static
and sound as a physical             experience.
 They have performed at various events and festivals in Berlin,       
     London, Nantes, Marseille, New York City, Rotterdam, Brussels,   
         Washington DC…etc.
