)))))((((( is Margaret Unknown (guitar, voice, electronics ) and      
        Markus Krispel (reeds).
 The group, naturally evolving out of different collaborations over   
           the years, focuses solely on the special connection of the
two              
individuals. Since then, nurtured into playing with
their love for               harmony and abstraction, chaos, romance,
and its destruction, for               the past and the future, for
damnation and our salvation. Their               first record {} was
recorded in Berlin in 2015 and since then it               has
received critical acclaim internationally, comparing the two          
    musicians to contemporaries in the tradition of Derek Bailey and  
            Albert Ayler.

       und Markus Krispel (Saxophone).
 Das Duo, aus unterschiedlichen musikalischen Projekten im Laufe      
        der letzten
 Jahre entstanden, fokussiert ausschliesslich auf die spezielle       
       Verbindung
 und Qualitäten der beiden Personen. Seitdem nährt sich die         
     Kollaboration mit der Liebe: für Harmonie und Abstraktion,
Chaos,               Romantik und Ihrer Destruktion; für die
Vergangenheit und
Zukunft,               für Verdammnis und
Heilsbringung. Ihr erstes Album {} wurde in               Berlin 2015
aufgenommen. Seitdem erhielt es internationales              
Kritikerlob, wobei die beiden Musiker z.B. in der Tradition von       
       Derek Bailey und Albert Ayler verortet werden.

 

Arma Agharta

The sound performances of Arma Agharta span a broad territory         
     between unbridled eruptions of chaotic noise and hypnotic        
      psychedelic rituals. Although his live sound, created by
analogue               instruments, formally fits into the familiar
shelves of lo-fi,               drone, etc., in reality it contains
many more shamanic elements               that are hard to describe
yet are perceived instinctively and               gutturally. The
performer himself, jumping frantically among his               ritual
props and dressed in ever different exotic outfits looks              
like a guide to the netherworld of forgotten spirits. Yet all
of      
        this is not as gravely serious as it might appear: another    
          prominent element of Arma’s performances is absurd humour,
which               plunges the listener into an infantile
subconscious space through               odd bodily movements,
spontaneous improvised games and the voice,               detached
from meaning and turning into unintelligible glossolalia.
 Arma is also one of the most widely travelling Lithuanian sound      
        artists. This mobility brings about both new influences, which
              become evident after each intense tour, and openness to
all kinds               of collaborations with other underground
artists.

Since 2007, under different conceptual solo projects he did           
   nearly 200 shows in Canada, USA, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, UK,     
         Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Serbia,
Slovakia,
 Hungary, Czech republic and Baltic states.
 Participated in the festivals: Aposition (Russia,
2015),             
 Construction (Ukraine, 2015), Gamselit (Ukraine, 2015), Other       
       Worlds (UK, 2015),  Noise & Fury (Russia, 2015), Sonic        
      Circuits (USA, 2014), Experi-mental (USA, 2014), Sonic        
      (Denmark, 2014), SOTU (Netherlands, 2014), Sound Around (Russia,
              2014), Cocart (Poland, 2013), Porin Juhlaviikot       
       (Finland, 2013), Mėnuo Juodaragis (Lithuania,
2013), Sūpynės               (Lithuania, 2014), Strcamp (Lithuania,
2013), Centras (Lithuania,               2013), Creature (Lithuania,
2013), Speigas (Lithuania, few times),               Dezintegracija
(Lithuania, few times). 

His music has been released exclusively on cassettes on Russian       
       and Lithuanian labels.
 Currently Arma also collaborates with a well known Lithuanian        
      sound artist Arturas Bumsteinas aka Refusenik.
