*Distitled Communities*
Velimir Zernovski is a visual artist and curator, who is exploring notions
of identity, urbanity and popular culture through the media of drawings,
videos, installations, art in public space аnd artist books.
In the last 10 years Zernovski has been working in the field of socially
and politically engaged art, often collaborating with various human rights
movements and activists´groups. Zernovski is co-founder of
IPAK Center – Research Center for Cultures, Politics and Identities
based in Belgrade and furthermore co-founded FRIK Cultural Initiatives
Development Formation, based in Skopje.

Danilo Prnjat is an artist and art critic, who intervenes in the domain of
political reality, explicating specific social problems by performing
a variety of projects that includes controversial, sometimes legally
problematic actions, interventions and (media) manipulations, and
further more social participatory projects.

Danilo Prnjat is an artist-in-residence invited by lend|hauer Klagenfurt in
April 2016.

born 1982 in Kotor, Montenegro, lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia/

Both artists are staying in Austria in the frame of
WEST BALKAN CALLING, an Artist-in-Residence Exchange
Programme taking place in 2016. The project is organized by < rotor >
in cooperation with the Directorate General for Cultural Policy of the
Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.
