VAGINAMUSEUM.at ist Österreichs erstes virtuelles Museum für das  
weibliche Geschlecht und wirkt nicht nur als kulturelle  
Informationsträgerin sondern auch als informative Bildungsplattform  
für Menschen jeglichen Alters, Geschlechts und unterschiedlicher  
sozialer und ethnischer Herkunft.

Die virtuelle Eröffnungsausstellung VAGINA 2.0 des VAGINAMUSEUM.at  
thematisiert die Auseinandersetzung mit den gegenwärtigen Begriffen  
und subjektiven Bedeutungen der weiblichen Geschlechtsorgane. Die  
künstlerischen Beiträge spannen einen thematischen Bogen früher  
Darstellungen von Vulva-Symbolen unterschiedlicher Kulturen und Zeiten  
bis hin zum Leben und Arbeiten in sozialen medialen Online-Plattformen  
und Sex-positivem Feminismus im Cyberspace.

VAGINAMUSEUM.at is Austria's first virtual museum for the female sex.  
It serves both as a cultural and scientific educational platform for  
people of all ages, genders and different social and ethnic origins.

The virtual opening exhibition VAGINA 2.0 broaches the issue of  
current terms and subjective meanings of the female sexual organs. The  
artistic inputs range from earlier depictions of vulva symbols in  
different civilizations and times to the life and work on social media  
online platforms and sex positive feminism in cyberspace.
