 Dass Interpenetration nicht nur antikapitalistisch sondern auch
umweltbewusst ist, beweisen die nächsten beiden termine. Watt, heute
am Sonntag, und Antez am Mittwoch spielen nämlich komplett akustisch.
Wir können den ganzen strom also verwenden, um euer bier
warmzuhalten.
 Ganz im ernst... das werden zwei ganz grossartige konzerte, die man
nicht verpassen sollte! Und jetzt, wo der frühling schon in den
startlöchern für seinen üblicherweise kurzen sprint steht, ist auch
der weg ins Forum bzw. Wakuum das reinste honigschlecken. Und dazu ein
kühles bier....... Bärig!

Watt

WATT endeavours to use the clarinet as a true emitter of sound waves,
ranging from almost pure sine tones to more complex periodic motions.
 Long and improvised forms are privileged, in which rhythms are beats,
timbres merge in the extreme, and tuning is greatly distorted.

Antez

My Continuums are pieces of music for rubbed percussion. They are
characterised by the acoustic emission of sounds.
 At first I used cymbals, but I quickly started looking for any kind
of objects, often found objects of different compositions; which after
a few transformations, allowed me to continue to develop this sound
material and motion work.
 My Continuums have unusual sonic textures, they escape traditional
percussion
registers. They test the limits of our perception: from
infra to ultrasonic, by playing phase shifts. They insert themselves
into the intimacy of sound matter, through micro sounds, and we are
presented with an audio saturation by noise density.
 The flow of these sounds evokes both restraint and excess, immersion
and timelessness.

Mes Continuums sont des pièces pour percussions frottées. Ils se
caractérisent par l’émission de sons acoustique, produits par mes
seuls gestes. J’ai premièrement utilisé des cymbales, mais je me
suis rapidement mis en quête de toute sorte d’objets, souvent de
récupération et de compositions différentes; parfois il subissent
quelques transformations, me permettant de continuer de développer ce
travail sur la matière sonore et le geste.
 Mes Continuums ont des textures sonores inhabituelles, elles
échappent aux registres traditionnels de la percussion. Elles testent
les limites de notre perception des infra aux ultrasons en jouant
des
déphasages de fréquence. Elles s’immiscent dans l’intimité de
la matière par le biais des micros sons et nous confrontent à une
saturation auditive par celles de la densité du bruit.
 De par leurs flux sonores et de ceux qu’elles nous donnent à voir,
elles évoquent autant la retenue que le dépassement, l’immersion
et l’intemporalité.
