Donnerstags bietet die Reihe An Art Day's Night im Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien (KM–) Podiumsdiskussionen, Vorträge, Lectures, Katalogpräsentationen, thematische Zwiegespräche, Performances, Konzertauftritte von Künstlerbands, allgemeine Debatten zu und über Kunst ...

Der Eintritt zur Veranstaltung und ab 18:00 in die Ausstellung ist frei.

Anlässlich des kürzlichen Ablebens von Jovanka Broz möchten wir auf die Arbeit von Tanja Ostojić „The Case of Comrade Jovanka Broz" hinweisen, die erstmals in deutscher Fassung in der aktuellen Ausstellung „… Was ist Kunst? …" gezeigt wird.

Beim Vortragsmarathon werden bestimmte Themen angesprochen, die Marko Pogačnik im Zusammenhang mit der Frage der zukünftigen Entwicklung der Kunst für wesentlich hält. Der Marathon dauert vier Stunden. Jedem Thema werden 45 Minuten beigemessen, danach folgt eine 15-minütige Pause und das nächste Thema. In der Pause sind die Teilnehmenden frei beizutreten oder den Raum zu verlassen.

18:00: Revolution in der Wahrnehmung – die Mehrdimensionalität

19:00: Schamanismus und die universelle Sprache

20:00: Die Kunst der Wandlung, Erdwandlung, Menschwandlung

21:00: Geokultur: ein politisches System der Pan-Demokratie

Marko Pogačnik, geboren 1944, ist Künstler und Buchautor aus Slowenien. In den Jahren 1965-1971 war er im Rahmen der Kunstgruppe OHO im Bereich der Konzeptkunst und Land-Art tätig. 1971 gründete er mit seiner Familie und Freunden eine Lebens- und Künstlergemeinschaft, die „Šempas-Familie“ in Šempas, Slowenien, die bis etwa 1979 existierte. Er hat weiters Lithopunktur, eine Methode der energetischen Heilung von Orten und Landschaften, zusammen mit der Kunst der Kosmogramme entwickelt. Zurzeit widmet er sich primär der Erd- und Menschwandlung im Rahmen der planetaren Geokultur.

On the occasion of the recent death of Jovanka Broz, we would like to point at Tanja Ostojić's work "The Case of Comrade Jovanka Broz", which is shown for the first time in a German version in the current show "… Was ist Kunst? …"

Save the date for the next Art Day's Night on Thursday, Oct 31, 7pm, catalogue presentation Susi Jirkuff „I walk this way in a certain kind of feeling" 

During the lecture marathon particular issues are topicalized, which Marko Pogačnik considers important when it comes to the development of art in future. The marathon lasts for four hours. Each topic is discussed for 45 minutes, followed by a fifteen-minute break and the introduction of the next topic. During the breaks, the audience can leave or join in.

9pm: The Art of Transition of Earth and The Individual

Marko Pogačnik, born in 1944, is a Slovenia-based artist and author. From 1965 to 1971 he was an active member of the artistic movement OHO, realizing concept- and land art. In 1971, together with his family and friends, he founded a life and art community called the „Šempas Family“ in Šempas, Slovenia, which existed until about 1979. He claims to have developed a method of earth healing in line with cosmograms. Currently, he is primarily committed to the transition that earth and individuals are experiencing in a context of planetary “geoculture“.
