Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It
has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making
it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at
Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure
Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going
through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the
undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and
1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and
Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the
theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance.
The first line
of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in
section 1.10.32.

 Myhr/Nørstebø&Delius

Adrian Fiskum Myhr – double bass (www.adrianmyhr.com)
Henrik Munkeby Nørstebø – trombone (www.henriknorstebo.com)
 + Tobias Delius – saxophone/clarinet
(http://www.doek.org/tobiasDelius/tobiasDelius.html)

Myhr/Nørstebø+Delius plays expressive improvised music in a
democratic environment where all three instruments are equal. The trio
incorporates explosive free-jazz esthetiques with micro-tonal timbral
investigations in a dynamic way where silence and loudness exists
simultaneously.

Tobias Delius has been an important voice on the international music
scene for many years in collaboration with musicians like Steve Lacy,
Misha Mengelberg, Bill Frisell, Steve Beresford, Ray Anderson and Paul
Loves. He is a regular member of the ICP orchestra, and runs his own
quartet which features Tristan Honsiger, Joe Williamson and
Han
Bennink.

The duo Myhr/Nørstebø have existed since 2010, and have played
concerts in Scandinavia, Poland, Slovenia, Austria, Ireland, England,
Scotland and the Czech republic both as a duo and with guest drummers
Raymond Strid and Tomas Järmyr. Adrian and Henrik play in several
bands/ensembles and have together or seperately collaborated with
musicians like Sidsel Endresen, Ab Baars, Toshimaru Nakamura, Tetuzi
Akiyama, Michel Doneda, Andrea Neumann, Raymond Strid, Michael Moore,
Tobias Delius, Oliver Lake, Sofia Jernberg, Bugge Wesseltoft, Michael
Duch, Lene Grenager and Nina de Heney.

The jazz alchemist (Krakow) wrote this about a concert last year:

“… The music was great, the playing creative, musicians in tune
with each other and their instruments, in constant dialogue,
interaction. While the presence of trombone brings sometimes a
jazz-rooted sound, a whole other world of sonic realities is right
there – hushed and semi-audible, filled with
details,
micro-textures, timbral explorations.”
