HOMOGENISATOR, ein neues Stück von alien productions für fünf MusikerInnen und fünf Küchenmixer, wird im Hangar Bicocca in Mailand uraufgeführt.

Jeder Klang, der auf einem der Instrumente gespielt wird, steuert zusätzlich den ihm zugeordneten Mixer, von Zeit zu Zeit kontrolliert die Tonhöhe der Instrumente die Geschwindigkeit der Mixermotoren. Die Instrumentalisten sind sozusagen in den Küchengeräten "gefangen".

Das Stück besteht aus sechs Sätzen, abwechselnd frei grafisch und dann wiederum streng klassisch notiert.

HOMOGENISATOR ist ein Auftragswerk des Ensembles RepertorioZero und wird auch von diesem uraufgeführt. Weiters auf dem Konzertprogramm stehen Uraufführungen von Stücken von Andrea Agostini, Raphaël Cendo, Yan Maresz, Jean-François Laporte, Nadir Vassena und Giovanni Verrando.

HOMOGENISATOR is a composition for 5 instruments and 5 kitchen blenders. Any sound played on an instrument triggers the according blender, sometimes also the instrument's pitch controls the speed of the blender. The instrumentalists are so to say trapped in their own blenders.

The piece is divided into 6 parts alternating between graphically scored free form and conventionally scored pieces. 

HOMOGENISATOR was commissioned by the ensemble RepertorioZero and will be first performed at the festival. Other pieces performed at the concert are compositions by Andrea Agostini, Raphaël Cendo, Yan Maresz, Jean-François Laporte, Nadir Vassena and Giovanni Verrando.
