Mosz definiert sich selbst schlichtweg als “a new label founded 2003 by
stefan németh, member of  <http://www.radian.at/> radian, and video artist
michaela schwentner [ <http://rhiz.org/jade> jade*]. mosz provides a
platform supporting the diversity of individual ideas and non-conform
musical strategies.” Und das MICA bezeichnet das österreichische Label als „
… Garant für innovative und experimentelle Sounds.“ Unter den Mosz-releases
finden sich u.a. Gustavs Debut-Album "Rettet die Wale" ebenso wie releases
von Peter Rehberg, metalycée, September Collective … und Forest Jackson. 

Live zu hören am 22.11. sind bei der Mosz_Label_Night im Forum Stadtpark bei
„open music“ gleich drei spannende Formationen: Lokai, Martin Siewert + Jade
und Fuckhead.

Lokai

"In lokai's music tunes and tones merge and diverge. Guitar and software
combine in compositions that stray to and fro across the borders between
analogue and digital, structure and instability, music and sound. Parts of
songs - loops, melodies, chords - float like moody jellyfish in electronic
space. musical threads fly apart and reconvene in unresolved clusters.
There's always another twist of the kaleidoscope to come. With ears
sharpened in Vienna, Stefan Németh and Florian Kmet carry their musical
baggage lightly, edging their work into thickly textured explorations of
states of uncertainty. The old advice still holds good: play loud." [Will
Montgomery] 

And this is what the artists say: "A basic impulse to form lokai was to
combine and expand the sound spectrum of an electric guitar with the
possibilities of electronic instruments on a structural and tonal level ...
tracks should oscillate between song formats and random-like situations.
Within this scenario the dynamic range goes from extremely dense layers to
fragile and ramified constructions of fragmented melodies and sounds. The
components are rendered to instrumental music, thoroughly containing a
certain impressionistic aspect."

Fuckhead

fuckhead are really hardcore: a band can hardly play rougher, more precise,
more to the core. despite all the primitiveness which they express: their
pieces are adventurously complex, the ecstasy which they invoke is always
searching for new paths -- there`s nothing at all numb or dumb. (thomas

Vienna`s Fuckhead were arresting for entirely different reasons. In the more
"traditional" setting of the Roma Room, they gave What is music a kick in
the pants, with an absurd set that looked like Laibach performing in an S&M
bar after taking a course in actionism....Fuckhead were the visual spectacle
