Noisia* started creating their own sound caught by the work of artists
such as Ed Rush and Optical. Since their innovative, technically precise
music was first included as staples of every established Drum & Bass
artists’ playlist, Noisia have proven themselves capable of coining
material guaranteed to decimate dancefloors worldwide, not only for Drum
& Bass but many other genres in which they dabble, such as Breaks, House
and Downtempo.
'Tomahawk' was their first collaboration with Mayhem and together with
Silicon became their first release, dropping on Nerve Recordings in
2003. Since that first release the machine went into overdrive, with
Noisia becoming a part of the Subtitles Recordings stables and having
several major releases under its banner. Noisia also count themselves as
residents for seminal drum and bass label Renegade Hardware, having had
both releases on the label and a DJ slot at all Renegade Hardware events.
They count among high profile artists with whom they have collaborated
people such as Calyx and Phace & outfits such as Cause4Concern, Bad
Company UK and fellow Dutch compatriots Black Sun Empire. The labels on
which they have featured include Moving Shadow, Virus Recordings, RAM
Records, Shogun Audio, OBSEssions, Shadow Law Recordings and have
featured on a Metalheadz CD release. Noisia have begun their own record
label entitled Vision Recordings to bring their music to the masses.
In 2006 Noisia began a new phase of their careers by undertaking the
roles of producers for the debut album of South African
vocalist/songwriter Tasha Baxter. In late 2006 Noisia were contacted by
the record label for internationally acclaimed singer Robbie Williams
to remix his cover of Manu Chao's Bongo Bong and Je Ne T'Aime Plus.
In addition to collaboration with celebrated Ninja Tune artist Amon
Tobin, Noisia finished 2007 with creating a new label to function as an
outlet for their House and Breaks creations entitled Division Recordings.

The DJ Producer*
Active since 1990, Luke DJ'd at the majority of early large scale raves
in UK including Universe, Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Rezerection,
Pandemonium. From these early outings, he gained recognition and
reputation and since then has been DJing round the globe solidly for the
last 15 years and appearing at events such as Breakcore gives me wood,
Thunderdome, Bangface and Glade Festival. His passion for high powered,
super precise, rapid beat mixing stems from his early passions of
electro and hip hop. Recording since 1994, Luke has released on labels
worldwide including Rebelscum, Social parasite, Deathchant and Planet
Mu. In the last couple of years his releases and remixes appeared on The
Third movement, Epiteth records and Killing sheep, to name a few.
