Utopie Lesekreis

Unser Lesekreis zum Thema Utopie findet diesen Mittwoch seine 
Fortsetzung, ab 18 Uhr in unserem Saloon. Am Wochenende gibt es dann 
zwei Clubs, Freitag sind GreyNote zu Gast und am Samstag wieder Dub der 
guten Hoffnung! Ansonsten fangen wir schon mal schön langsam damit an, 
das Haus für das Elevate-Festival herzurichten... dazu mehr nächste 
Woche an dieser Stelle!

Lesen gilt als einsame Tätigkeit. Aber besonders die Lektüre von Texten 
der politischen Theorie stellt uns manchmal vor große Herausforderungen, 
weil sich der Text nicht sofort erschließt, wir mit den Begriffen nicht 
vertraut sind oder einfach das Bedürfnis haben, das Gelesene mit anderen 
zu teilen. Die gemeinsame Auseinandersetzung mit Texten gelingt also 
nicht nur einfacher, sondern auch besser. In insgesamt acht 
Abendeinheiten werden wir Schlüsseltexte des utopischen Denkens 
diskutieren, um sie umfassender verstehen und in ihrem Kontext und in 
ihrer Entstehungsgeschichte besser begreifen zu können.

Once again we have the honor to host another Release show. This time we 
celebrate the second EP of alllone and Nichi Mlebom called Asagi. Also 
expect some massive performances from Stryke of the For:mation Kru, the 
GreyNote family and two additional acts which will be anounced in the 
next 2 weeks. For the visual beauty our creative friends from Deafblind 
will support us with their unique self produced footage.

      Dub der guten Hoffnung meets Munchies // Session #39

/Sa, 29.02., 22:00 Uhr, Keller, Eintritt: AK 5-15€ pay as you wish/

Munchies are a result of a long search, which started in 2013. In the 
last three years, they played at almost every dub friendly venue and 
festival in the Alps-Danube-Adria region and are hosting a monthly 
dub/reggae night in their hometown Pula. Last summer they organizing 
their own festival called “Escape the City” near Pula, the infamous 
gathering combining Ecology, Art & Soundsystem culture. With over 100+ 
sessions under their belt they strongly support unity & friendship 
within the sound system scene, be it with the Balkan family or 
Outernational.
