Das FORUM STADTPARK freut sich, auch heuer wieder einen Großteil des 
Diskursprogramms des Elevate Festivals zu beherbergen. Mit dem 
TRIPLEDECKER am 25.10. werden zum Abschluss des Festivals alle drei 
Ebenen in Zusammenarbeit mit dem FORUM STADTPARK bespielt. Mit 
textemachenden Freunden des FORUM STADTPARK:
*Die sehr guten textroller 2000* und der zweiten liga für kunst und 
kultur mit ihrer Performance: *Straße der Enthusiasten*.

Auch heuer kombiniert das Elevate Festival wieder politischen Diskurs 
mit zeitgenössischer Musik und Kunst. Vom 20.10. bis 26.10.2011 
thematisiert Elevate unter dem Motto «Elevate The 21st Century» die 
Zukunftsvisionen, die es für dieses Jahrtausend gab und gibt. In 
insgesamt 26 Veranstaltungen wird sowohl der rasante Fortschritt in 
Bereichen wie Technik, Internet und Erneuerbare Energie thematisiert, 
als auch über Gesellschaftspolitisches wie Arbeit und Produktion im 
21.Jahrhundert debattiert.

Gleichzeitig bietet das Festival zahlreiche Live-Acts, Bands und DJs, 
die faszinierende Entdeckungsreisen in innovative Klangwelten abseits 
des Mainstreams versprechen. Das Musik- und Literaturprogramm soll den 
Zugang zu neuen Klang- und Hörwelten eröffnen. Dazu tragen auch die 
zahlreichen Workshops bei, die sich mit Themen rund um Musikproduktion, 
Online-Radio und Visual Arts beschäftigen.

This year's Elevate Festival once again combines political discourse 
with contemporary music and art. From October 20th to October 26th the 
Elevate Festival under the slogan «Elevate the 21st Century» will 
reflect upon the ideas and expectations of life in the future that 
existed in the past century, as well as shed light on visions which have 
a large potential to shape our future. 26 Events consider the fast pace 
of change in these days of technological advancement and the dangers of 
the multiple crises situations as well as work and production in the 
21st century.

At the same time the festival offers numerous live acts, bands and Djs, 
which promise to fascinate with innovative sounds aside from the 
mainstream scene. The music and literature program wants to inspire 
people to listen more carefully and create new experiences. Several 
workshops, which deal with music production, online radio and visual 
arts, support this conscious approach to music and art.
