Hi,
During my recent (massive) 'aptitude safe-upgrade', my file-rc was automatically removed. Is grml still using file-rc?
I want to use back the file-rc. Any precautions I should take? I.e., how do I find out what is the current ??-rc that I'm using?
thanks

Yes, grml is using file-rc.

Just run "dpkg -S /etc/init.d/rcS" to find out whether you are using file-rc or sysv-rc. Replacing sysv-rc with file-rc isn't a big deal.
