I know I must have done something wrong, but
http://www.nais.org/LoginPre.cfm then, trying to go to sssonline gives me the error that iceweasel cannot connect because of a security protocol that is not enabled.
It worked in grml 0.8, so I have somehow disabled something it needs, as the same type of error occurs in opera, galeon, et al.
Help, please, as there must be something I did in runlevel.conf, or somewhere.
Most other secure sites work.
This is rather urgent, actually.

Are you sure the server is reachable at all? :)

Are you sure the server is reachable at all? :)
After double-checking:
The website is using low-grade encryption (RC4-40). You might have to lower security preferences in your browser therefore to access it.

Thanks - sorry for the off-list - brain fart. That is indeed the issue - now, back to my fun with gnome....
I think one of the var files has the wrong owner, but I have a few minutes to play with it before I re-install.
