thanks for your answers.
amixer or alsamixer shows an error error defaul load: invalid argument
If i look in /proc/asound/ossmixer, the settings for volume ... are set to 0.
if i do alsaconf, nothing will happen.

Can you be a bit more precise about what you mean with nothing?
Do you have the snd-hda-intel (or snd_hda_intel) module loaded? Kind regards Nico
