Hi

When I saw the following checkinstall error messages [1], I tried to update my checkinstall. But, I realized that the errors are still not fixed [2].

Can somebody confirm that checkinstall is still broken?

Is there alternative solutions?

I noticed a package obsoleted by checkinstall named installwatch, but that one is not usable either:

% installwatch -o filename make install cp subs blib/script/... make: *** [blib/script/...] Segmentation fault
