I have updated http://wiki.grml.org/doku.php?id=persistency based on experience this past two weeks with current stable grml. I plan to add to it as I gain understanding of additional related options. Suggestions and corrections are welcome.

Note: the live-manual matches the behaviour of the old "persistent" code, not the one with "persistence" yet. Is there anyone willing to help us in improving the persistency documentation for Debian/Grml?
