Has anyone managed to compile and run the vmware 1.0.3 server (with any-any-112 patch) on grml 1.0 with kernel 2.6.20 ? At my HD install it wonŽt compile the kernel module :-(

I'm using http://knihovny.cvut.cz/ftp/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update112.tar.gz (md5sum fc25f970aa2797938b54f3d2a7ec2d73) with VMware-server-1.0.3-44356.tar.gz and 2.6.22-grml (the one from the grml-testing repository). I would wunder myself if that shouldn't work with 2.6.20. Are you using 2.6.20-grml? If so: which errors do you get after applying vmware-any-any-update112.tar.gz?
