I personally would recommend you to use some kind of virtualization like virtualbox[1]. You should be able to mount the grml-2008.11-ISO and boot it in your virtualbox instance. That way you could do whatever you want without the danger to damage your current working setup. Needless to say that you also will be able to read the grml documentation while actually still being in Windows.
