I have just tried installing using grml2hd 1.2.3 and it seems to have worked, add it to stable.
On this topic, it means that grml 2009.05 CD images will be all using grml2hd 1.2.2, so suffering from this problem. Knowing about the bugs in grml2hd I could use aptitude to upgrade grml2hd for me. Should I be unaware of other potential bugs in the release CD, is there a way I could just run a command to retrieve critical updates? I mean that currently running "aptitude update" and "aptitude safe-upgrade" will get me more than just bug fixes.

What is the best way for me to test this? Do I need to just install a later version of grml2hd when running the CD (eg. aptitude update; aptitude install grml2hd) or do I need to download a new CD image (ouch, that will hit transfer allowance)?
The first should work; this morning I got a new grml2hd via safe-upgrade. (installed grml-2008-11) If you want the latest grml2hd on CD, you only can find it on the GRML daily CDs, I guess.
This is of course wrong.
Adding "deb http://deb.grml.org/ grml-testing main" to your sources list will enable you to get the latest packages from grml.
Right. And as soon as grml2hd is reported as working fine I'll upload the package to the grml-stable repository as well.
