I noticed that xprint is removed from the 0.8 release.
Is it superseded by something else? What the suggested alternative to xprint?
It was unsupported, uninstallable and unusable during the Xorg 7 transition. Nobody seemed to miss it, and 9810kB just for xprint are wasted space IMO.
IIRC Ubuntu stopped shipping it as well, xprint is deprecated nowadays (Linux already has a working printing system). Google for something like "xprint deprecated Daniel Stone".
If someone really wants xprint: just install it on your own. :)
