Yes, or run tzconfig, and perhaps edit /etc/default/rcS.
My point is, if it's going to futz with the rtc, it ought to do it correctly. I don't want grml confusing my other systems. With all those supported cheat-codes, I'd think grml2hd could honour a couple more, such as utc and tz=...

Oh, you mean /etc/default/rcS and /etc/localtime should be adjusted according to bootoption utc/tz in grml2hd? Thanks - good idea! I just added it to the todolist for grml 0.9.
