What can I do do have my system remember the static IP address assigned via grml-network instead of looking for a DHCP address?
edit /etc/grml/autoconfig and set CONFIG_DHCP='no' This must help. My opinoin is that this option have to be set by grml-network. But Mika knows better.
Yeah, that's a good idea. I will set CONFIG_DHCP to 'no' in /etc/grml/autoconfig as soon as you answer the question "Interface enabled, do you want it auto enabled at boot?" from grml-network/netcardconfig with "yes".
I've added it to our BTS: http://bts.grml.org/grml/issue225 and will write the according code soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
