Hi all.
I have a strange problem in GRML Linux 0.8 (as I run this on my server machine, and do not wish to upgrade.)
One of my problems, is that my software speech will die for no particular reason.
I was instructed to set speechd-up therefore with a value of nice -20.
I see this resolves my issue, but will that nice value be preserved during an suspend-to-disk?
Regards,

BTW...Is software speech a CPU-intensive process in general?
