Which grml-small version? Stable 0.2? Then that's nothing unusual. ;) Between grml-small 0.2 and current develversions a lot of development took place, also in the Debian unstable pool.
Ah. Yes, it's 0.2.
My only real complaint is that grml2hd assumes my rtc is set to localtime. "utc" and "tz=Canada/Mountain" are quietly ignored.

Yes, or run tzconfig, and perhaps edit /etc/default/rcS.
My point is, if it's going to futz with the rtc, it ought to do it correctly. I don't want grml confusing my other systems. With all those supported cheat-codes, I'd think grml2hd could honour a couple more, such as utc and tz=...
