I have a suggestion, next time you blog what packages get removed/added, could you add the description to the package names as well? So we get a brief idea what are added/deleted, without to look them up.
Just copy/paste the selection and run:
apt-cache show $SELECTION
But if there's enough space for descriptions I'll add them next time.
2nd, of all the followding deleted packages, are there any alternatives, or they are remove for space-saving purpose?
hgrep highlight output of grep
GNU grep:
grep --color=auto ....
Enabled by default for users (but not root).
numlockx enable NumLock in X11 sessions
It breaks many systems when using [xkg]dm. If you really need it install it.
qtparted A parted frontend using QT
It's unmaintained and has some annoying bugs. Use parted instead, of you really think you need a graphical frontend install gparted.
tripwire file and directory integrity checker
Useless on the live-CD and even useless for 99% of all grml2hd-installations. If you really need it you can install it on your own, you might also want to take a look at aide.
