This isn't a valid class name. That's why you didn't get a kernel: . . . Use AMD64 instead of amd64.
Oh, I was confused by the man page saying:
in "-c CLASSES" explanation:
"If using a non-I386 system (like *amd64*) you should ..."
that's where I get/use the "amd64" from.
