I'm wondering because my last syslog entry is from 23. Sep and
root@rob-pad /etc # grep "syslog" runlevel.conf 90 0,1,6 - /etc/init.d/syslog-ng
looks like it's not starting anymore via runlevel system. Is there a problem with my config or could it be some update issue?
grml always started syslog-ng via /etc/init.d/grml-autoconfig, so check whether CONFIG_SYSLOG='yes' is set in /etc/grml/autoconfig.
