There is no need to generate hypothetical problem scenarios. Why else do you think I sent this font to the list, with special attention on that restriction? Because the font as published will never go into Debian, and the grml list reaches console users who might like it anyway. So, trying to be helpful here. A "thank you" would be nice.
If he gets many requests for GPL|BSD|CreativeCommons|SIL licensing, then he might consider it. No more private cc's about Debian license politics; that is why lists exist. With so much free stuff on the web under so many license arrangements, it's debatable what combination minimizes "work". Debian's Firefox debacle comes to mind.
He put endless hours of work into something provided free, which deserves thanks. Hat tip to Frugalware news #29 for spotting the font.
