Should not be that much as Etch has been frozen and Unstable is a moving target again. ;)
My translation of Debian's strata are
stable --> ancient and full of bugs, but patched testing --> less ancient, less bugs unstable --> current and basically stable* (grml) experimental --> might be buggy, package version conflicts abound
