Hi!
I'm using GRML on my new gaming PC, and that new actually means "really new". So new that the network chip (Realtek 8126) is not supported by the 6.11.10 kernel from Debian trixie that is used by GRML 2024.12.
I'm currently testing several Linux distributions that specifically support gaming, and all of them use a newer kernel. I had the same problem with Ubuntu 24.10, though.
I imagine that more people will run into this. That's why I'm asking for an (intermediate? new?) version of GRML with a newer kernel. Right now I have removed all gaming Linuxes from the PC to test a special way to install windows (all described in c't 7/2025). If you want details, this will take a little.
So, pretty pleease? This could coincide with the support for John Heim's speech synth request.
