Wie sehr ist mein Körper noch mein Körper, sofern er es je war?

Der menschliche Körper dient als Angriffsfläche der Macht, um einerseits auf das Subjekt, andererseits auf die gesamte Gesellschaft zuzugreifen, konstatiert Michel Foucault. Heute sind es vor allem die großen Techkonzerne, die ihre Macht längst nicht mehr nur in ökonomischer Hinsicht ausüben und weiter ausbauen. Zusätzlich befeuert werden die Entwicklungen aber auch von uns selbst.

Die Faszination, die technische Geräte und die damit verbundenen Möglichkeiten auf uns ausüben lässt uns scheinbar kritiklos werden, sogar den /Human Enhancement/-Programmen grosser Konzerne gegenüber.

The human body serves as an attack surface of power, in order to access the subject on the one hand, and the entire society on the other, Michel Foucault states. Today, it is above all the large tech corporations that have long since ceased to exercise and further expand their power in economic terms alone. But the developments are also being fueled by ourselves.

The fascination that technical devices and the associated possibilities exert on us makes us seemingly uncritical, even of the human enhancement programs of large corporations.
