SPECTRUMS von SIMON HÄUSSLE
Satellitenausstellung / Fumetto, Internationales Comix Festival, Luzern

"Spektrums" ist ein vorläufiger Abschluss der Welt um Häussles Figur 
"DotDotDot". Die gezeigten Arbeiten beschliessen, als Sammlung in neuer 
Reihung, den bisherigen Deutungsweg und bauen einige gewachsene 
Verbindungen zu neuen Bezügen um. Ergänzend kommen aktuelle Zeichnungen 
hinzu. Eine der Geschichten aus diesem Bestand, "Golden" findet sich in 
Tonto #12, Nordpol.

FUMETTO SMALL PRESS HEAVEN:

Tonto bespielt den 2013 zum ersten Mal stattfindenden "Fumetto Small 
Press Heaven" am zweiten Festival Wochenende. Am 23. und 24. März von 10 
bis 20 Uhr, kann man im "Neubad" neben einer Auswahl an Tonto Comics 
auch Publikationen von Kabinett, KutiKuti oder Kus!, in denen 
TONTO-Zeichner*innen sind, finden.

TONTO COMICS #13: NOISE beim NEXTCOMIC FESTIVAL, Linz
Performance / Lesung

"NextComic goes Music" ist der Titel des diesjährigen Festivals.
In diesem Rahmen stellen Helmut Kaplan und Edda Strobl das 2012 
erschienene Tonto-Buch NOISE, vor: "Eine comic-hafte, grafische 
Partitur, der Gestus der Zeichnung etwa ein Hinweis auf Dynamik und 
Lautstärke. Entsprechend einem Musikstück ist auch die Narration: Laute 
Höhepunkte, Explosionen, Verdoppelungen, Verfusselungen in Granulate. 
Und endet in einer Seite, die "Stille" heißt. Leichter Nachklang mit 
Fragestellung."

"Spectrum" is a preliminary conclusion of the world to Häussles figure 
"DotDotDot". As a collection in a new order, the works terminate the 
previous way of reading and build some grown connections to new ones. 
Furthermore there are some current drawings added. One of the 
stories from that stock, "Golden" is to be found in Tonto # 12, North Pole.

FUMETTO SMALL PRESS HEAVEN:

2013 the "Fumetto Small Press Heaven" is held for the first time. On Sat 
and Sun, March, 23 and 24, 10 am to 8 pm, in the "Neubad" you can find 
a selection of Tonto comics along with publications of Kabinett, 
KutiKuti or Kus!, with contributions of TONTO-artists.

TONTO COMICS # 13: NOISE at NEXTCOMIC FESTIVAL, Linz
Performance / Reading

"Next Comic Goes Music" is the title of this year's festival.
Within this context, Helmut Kaplan and Edda Strobl present the 2012 
published Tonto book NOISE :. "A comicbook-like, graphical score, the 
gesture of the drawings refer to dynamics and volume. The narration is 
comparable to a piece of music: full of climaxes, burstings, doublings, 
granular fluffings. It finally ends on a page titled "Silence". A slight 
reveberation, posing a question."
