1) ist demnächst:

Im Jänner beteiligt sich Tonto an einer Ausstellung in Berlin.
Arbeiten von Edda Strobl, Helmut Kaplan, Michael Jordan, Simon Häußle 
und die Performance Lesung "Inside Case" am Samstag 12.1., 21:00, im 
Rahmen von "11 Jahre, 11 Tage, 11 Sekunden" im Neurotitan.

"Zu einem ungewöhnlichen Jubiläum versammelt der avant-verlag die 
deutschsprachigen Künstler der Publikationsgeschichte zu einer 
allumfassenden Ausstellung, die nicht nur die Geschichte des 
Verlagshauses widerspiegelt, sondern auch das kreative Potential, die 
erzählerische Bandbreite und die künstlerischen Ambitionen der 
deutschsprachigen Comic-Szene präsentiert. 18 Künstlerinnen und Künstler 
zeigen vom 11. Januar bis zum 2. Februar 2013 Comic-Illustrationen, 
freie Arbeiten, Installationen und andere Werke an der Schnittstelle 
zwischen narrativer und bildender Kunst. Begleitet wird die Ausstellung 
von zahlreichen Lesungen, Diskussionsveranstaltungen, Performances und 
Führungen."

Tonto besucht die Indie-Messe FEIRA LAICA, Lissabon, 15.-16.12.2012

Auf der Indie-Messe Feira Laica, die Comics und Artverwandtes wie 
Originalzeichnungen und Drucke, aber auch Musik präsentiert, haben Edda 
Strobl und Helmut Kaplan die Tonto Publikationen hergezeigt, und neben 
anderen auch André Lemos und Filipe Abranches kennengelernt. Zeichnungen 
von ihnen sind auf der Tonto-Webseite zu sehen.

In January Tonto participates in an exhibition in Berlin.
Works by Edda Strobl, Helmut Kaplan, Michael Jordan, Simon Häußle and 
the performance reading "Inside Case" on Saturday, January 12, 9:00 pm, 
in the context of "11 years, 11 days, 11 seconds" at Neurotitan.

"For an unusual anniversary the avant-verlag assembles the 
German-speaking artists of its publishing history in a comprehensive 
exhibition that doesn’t only mirror the history of the publishing house, 
but also presents the creative potential, the wide narrative spectrum 
and the artistic ambitions of the German comic scene. 18 artists show 
from January 11 to February 2, 2013 comic-illustrations, freelance 
works, installations and other works at the interface between narrative 
and visual arts. The exhibition is accompanied by numerous readings, 
discussions, performances and tours.

Tonto visited the indie fair FEIRA LAICA, Lisbon, Dec. 15–16, 2012

At the indie fair Feira Laica that presents comics and related works, 
such as free drawings and originals, prints, and also music, Edda Strobl 
and Helmut Kaplan have shown the Tonto publications, and, among others, 
met André Lemos and Filipe Abranches. Drawings of them can be seen on 
the Tonto website.
