TONTO BLICKT ZURÜCK AUF 10 JAHRE "TONTO-COMICS"

	
ERÖFFNUNG am Mittwoch, 29. 6. 2011 um 19:00

Viele Künstler sind anwesend, Thomas Wolkinger erzählt seine Sicht auf 
Tonto-Comics und redet mit Gordana Basta und Aleksander Zograf über 
Stickarbeiten, basierend auf Comic-Jams.
Mahlers "Mystery Music" (Animationsfilm) trifft auf mysteriöses Liedgut 
von "8 oder 9" (Konzert, Rumpfbesetzung: Curd Duca/Norbert 
Gmeindl/Werner Jurasrek). DICEINDUSTRIES aus Hamburg dekonstruiert 
(Konzert).
Lesung von Michael Jordan (Text und Bild) und Robert Lepenik (Sound), 
der später als "Tonto-DJ" die 30 Tonto-Cd's durchforstet.

... und ein paar Überraschungen, an denen noch gebastelt wird...


AUSSTELLUNG

In zwei grossen Tischlandschaften erzählen Edda Strobl und Helmut Kaplan 
ihre jeweilige Sicht einer Geschichte der TONTO-COMICS. 
Entwicklungslinien und Stillstandsarabesken, Wege und Sackgassen - 
Kontinuität.
An den Wänden Material von DICEINDUSTRIES (DE), elffriede (AT), Norbert 
Gmeindl (AT), Michael Hacker (AT), Simon Häussle (AT), Igor Hofbauer 
(HR), Michael Jordan (DE), Andreas Leikauf (AT), Nicolas Mahler (AT), 
Clemens Stecher (AT), Heinz Wolf (AT), Aleksandar Zograf und Gordana 
Basta (RS), ...
Weiters: An Tonto angrenzende Publikationen aus ganz Europa.

TONTO LOOKS BACK ON 10 YEARS OF "TONTO-COMICS"

OPENING on Wednesday, June, 29,  19:00
a lot of the artist are present, Thomas Wolkinger tells us about his 
vision of Tonto comics and talks to Gordana Basta and Aleksander Zograf 
about works of embroidery based on comic jams.
Mahlers "Mystery Music" (animation film) meets the mysterious song 
repertoire of "8 oder 9" (concert, fix cast Curd Duca/Norbert 
Gmeindl/Werner Jurasrek). DICINDUSTRIES from Hamburg deconstruct (concert).
Reading by Michael Jordan (text and sketch) and Robert Lepernik (sound), 
who will subsequently cumb through the 30 Tonto Cds as "Tonto DJ".
.....and more suprises, still in progress.......

Exhibition:
Displayed on two large desk landscapes Edda Strobl and Helmut Kaplan 
tell a story about TONTO comics from their particular point of view. 
Lines of developement, cessation arabesques, paths and dead ends - 
continuity.
On the walls material from ICEINDUSTRIES (DE), elffriede (AT), Norbert 
Gmeindl (AT), Michael Hacker (AT), Simon Häussle (AT), Igor Hofbauer 
(HR), Michael Jordan (DE), Andreas Leikauf (AT), Nicolas Mahler (AT), 
Clemens Stecher (AT), Heinz Wolf (AT), Aleksandar Zograf und Gordana 
Basta (RS), ...
Additionally: Conterminuous to Tonto comics publications from all over 
Europe.
