Friedl ist bekannt für seine sich dem Sehsinn verweigernden Arbeiten, für die der Künstler den Terminus „nonvisualobjects“, kreiert hat. „nvo | nonvisualobjects“ wiederum lautet der Name des Labels, welches für Interpretationen im Bereich Minimalismus (Reduktion) im Sound steht, das Friedl 2005 zusammen mit Raphael Moser in Wien gegründet hat.<BR><BR>Heribert Friedl (*1969, Feldbach) schloss 1998 sein Diplom an der Universität für Angewandte Kunst in Wien mit Auszeichnung ab. Er ist Preisträger beim Förderungspreis für bildende Kunst in der Steiermark (1999), beim 31. Österreichischen Graphikwettbewerb (2009), des Universalmuseum Joanneum Preis (2010) sowie beim 33. Österreichischen Graphikwettbewerb (2013). In letzten Jahren stellte er u.a. in der Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken, im Netwerk – Center for Contemporary Art in Aalst, in der Kunsthalle Wien, im Kunstverein Salzburg und im Museum Villa Rot in Burgrieden aus.<BR><BR><BR>--<BR><BR><BR>18-05-<BR>2017 -6 pm<BR></SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Sound Performance</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;text-decoration:underline;" ><BR>Heribert Friedl</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" ><BR><BR>As a highlight of his exhibition “When I took my finger out of the feathered bottom, it smelled insanely good, like fresh clay.” presented inside and outside of the Künstlerhaus, the artist </SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;font-weight: bold;text-decoration:underline;" >Heribert Friedl</SPAN><SPAN STYLE= "font-family: '';font-size: 13px;" > will present a sound performance. Friedl is renowned for works refusing to address the visual sense for which he coined the term "nonvisualobjects." The record label for interpretations in minimal music (reduction) he co-founded with Rapahel Moser in Vienna in 2005, is called "nvo | nonvisualobjects."<BR><BR>Heribert Friedl (*1969, Feldbach) received his diploma at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with distinction in 1998. He was awarded prices such as the Förderungspreis für bildende Kunst in der Steiermark (1999), from the 31. Österreichischer Graphikwettbewerb (2009), the Universalmuseum Joanneum Preis (2010) and at the 33. Österreichischer Graphikwettbewerb (2013).
